The man may not have had many unabsolved sins, so it doesn’t have to have lasted that long. My second argument isn’t an argument from silence, in fact it’s the opposite. It points out that just because Jesus is silent on this doctrine, that doesn’t mean that the doctrine isn’t true. Plus, what if Jesus did say something and it wasn’t recorded? It just seems that there are many valid and viable explanations. | |
