I was raised Christian evangelical and attended an evangelical school from kindergarten to twelfth grade. I had a brief stint with atheism in my freshman year of high school, and a return to my parents evangelical faith about a year later. I began studying theology more heavily after watching my non-denominational church fall apart. I began leaning towards a progressive, universalist form of Christianity, but by chance ran across Catholic sources at places like Catholic Answers critiquing progressive theology. After engaging with the Catholic faith through study quite heavily for two years, and attending Mass regularly for the latter year, I was confirmed into the Catholic Church on August 15th of 2023, the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.

I now attend Hillsdale College in Michigan, and am working to receive my BS in Economics with a minor in computer science. I am an active participant in Hillsdale’s Catholic Society, Swing Dancing Club, and a Thomistic Institute Book Club (currently reading Josef Pieper’s Faith | Hope | Love).
