What does in the "Form of God" mean?

This attitude be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not regard being equal to God as robbery, but made himself nothing and took the form of a servant, by becoming equal to men, and, in his form invented as a man, humbled himself by becoming obedient unto death, yes, to death on the cross. (Philippians 2:5-8)
