My son grew up in Pennsylvania. He now lives in Florida. He and his fiancé (he is catholic, she is not) want to have an outdoor wedding in state of Pennsylvania. He (and we) would like to have the marriage recognized by the Catholic Church. They have completed their Catholic pre-marital courses. What do they need to do to have this marriage recognized by the church even though the ceremony will not take place in a church? Also, which diocesan priest would need to sign off on this...where they get their marriage license or where they reside?
