Sep 19, 2022 at 17:29 comment added Hold To The Rod @SpiritRealmInvestigator let me think about that one. I admit I don't see any need for a religion-relationship dichotomy. If a specific religion is off-course I see that as potential evidence of apostasy in that sect, rather than as an indication that all religion is flawed.

Aug 8, 2022 at 2:01 comment added Hold To The Rod @SpiritRealmInvestigator I have updated my answer to better reflect the intent of the question. Thanks for helping me with the hermeneutics/authorial intent of the OP =). Given the breadth of the question my multi-faith overview response is somewhat high-level.

Aug 6, 2022 at 19:40 comment added user50422 Strictly speaking, the latter. That's why I added leading sub-questions such as Are there standard definitions for these phrases that most denominations tend to agree upon? and Are there any notable discrepancies?. Those questions cannot be answered without comparing the views of two or more denominations.
Aug 6, 2022 at 17:33 comment added Hold To The Rod @SpiritRealmInvestigator are you looking for detailed responses from different denominations on how these terms are used, or a high-level compare/contrast in the way different faiths understand the function of the Holy Ghost? It is possible that I misunderstood the original question.

Aug 6, 2022 at 15:56 comment added Hold To The Rod @KenGraham is there Meta guidance you'd recommend on overview questions? My sense is that providing 10+ definitions across 2 or 3 denominations--much less a sampling of all the denominations represented by users here--would be unwieldy in a single answer, and multiple posts each providing an answer for 1 denomination would provide a stronger overview than any individual answer.

Aug 6, 2022 at 13:14 comment added Ken Graham This is a nice response, however it does not meet the requirements of the question: What is an overview of how different Christian denominations define well-known phrases related to the ministry of the Holy Spirit? The perspective of one denomination is insufficient to fulfill the requirements of an overview question. Personally, this question is way too broad.
