Mar 18, 2015 at 9:07 comment added curiousdannii "Heaven" means a great many things: the eternal residence of God outside of the creation, the resting place of the dead, God's court with the angels, the afterlife, the new heavens and earth. A question like this can't really be answered without being much more specific.
Jul 25, 2014 at 18:31 comment added user13992 @Flimzy but do we know that ALL (my emphasis) creation (including heaven) is within time Very good question and after reading the article, I do not know. God came into his creation but it seems he can also draw it into him ... I guess let's be faithful and we will soon find out. Very good original question and very good follow up probing question.

Jul 24, 2014 at 23:16 comment added user13992 @Flimzy Not saying that. Heaven and earth are in time: In the beginning ... . God is outside.
Jul 24, 2014 at 21:33 comment added Flimzy @FMShyanguya: We are currently with God... yet not outside of time. Why would one presume that we would be outside of time in heaven? Maybe there's a reason to come to that conclusion, but I don't think presupposition explains it.
Jul 23, 2014 at 6:01 comment added user13992 @Flimzt In Heaven we will be "with" God (so possibly/presumably outside of time as well?) If God comes to meet his creatures in the created heavens and earth, one does not get to be taken to the eternity of God to be with God.
Jul 22, 2014 at 5:52 comment added curiousdannii this is close to a truth question as it is. How would you feel about limiting it strictly to the biblical-basis for/against the idea?
