I didn't mean to imply that only evangelicals ever do so. It just seems to me to be more prevalent in those circles. Perhaps it's a non-liturgical thing? | |

As far as can tell it's reflective of their humble lifestyle. Not praying aloud on the corner and such. So there is a non evangelical, not modern example. | |
