The outworking of that for us is that He lived life as any person can when in right relationship with God. Sure there are battles and certainly Jesus battled with doing the will of the Father in the garden. I have heard it said that that passage in 1 John is addressed to the unsaved, but I've not looked. However hard the task, Jesus did it and I think its not impossible for us to live sin free. Its certainly what we should be aiming for. Kind regards,

Jesus was able to avoid sinning because He did not have original sin. There are several scriptures about the battle between the "old man" and "new creature". Paul in Romans talks about wanting to do good but doing evil instead, but some claim that refers only to before he believed. I John says we are liars if we say we don't sin, and seems to be talking to believers.
Jun 10, 2016 at 8:00 comment added Michael Vincent Does this really answer the question? This seems to answer "have all sinned?" rather than "can one sin no more?" Jesus, as fully man, shows us that it is possible to live life without sinning. There are days when I believe I haven't sinned. I hope for more of those days.
