Given the sound theology in this answer, it must be clear that grace regarding anything God gives, cannot be demanded by anyone. Not even Jesus made any demands of God! Humility would prevent anyone making any demands of God, and Jesus' extraordinary humility is detailed in the N.T. So, anyone striving to follow his perfect example would never be so arrogant as to demand God do this or that. There is a certain virtue in the OP not demanding God's grace but that won’t save him!. +1 | |
