God can definitely reverse the fall through the Christ else there is no reason to send him. The question then is why the world is in such a dismal state? Let's relook at the Fall of Man (1 John 3:10). In 1 Corinthians 15:45 it reveals Jesus comes as the second Adam which indicates his will is absolute on establishing the Kingdom on Earth as in Heaven (Matthew 6:9-13). We know Adam fell by engaging in a premature relationship with Eve. God works through time and space. Given the Old Testament uses analogy to express concepts, it appears the fruit is symbolic of sexual love (Gen 1:17). Sex is a sacred act and fulfilling when we are mature which takes time. The best way to have strong families is to be married first. God commands Adam and Eve to not eat of the fruit till it is ripe (mature). So let's consider an immature fruit is symbolic for immature sex. This understanding can be confirmed by what is happening in society today. Immature and unnatural sexual relations leads to mental and marital problems (Corinthians 6:18). We all want our children to remain pure until marriage if we are Christian. If we can get past the prevailing doctrine that the fruit is literal, we can teach our children how to maintain their purity by talking about wholesome sexual love with them. We have to stop teaching a fantasy that is disconnected from sex. The Fall can be explained so children can be guided away from having sex before they are ready. Are we to teach them to stop eating apples? Let's get real. Once Adam and Eve entered into a relationship with Lucifer, he is now referred to as Satan. The Fall of Man triggers the Fall of the Angels (Jude 1:6). Man now serves the Angels instead of them serving Man. It reverses God's plan for mankind. So if God is a being of pure goodness (Psalm 145:9), then everything he does is to save us from Satan. He then proceeds to call on a person to establish a foundation for the messiah, the second Adam, to come. That is Abraham (Deuteronomy 14:2). Through his decendents that foundation expands on a family, clan, tribe, nation and worldwide level. I could never understand why Matthew 1:1-17 was important till I figured out how important lineage is to God's plan. He works through those who fulfills his will. It is not arbitrary. Jesus can only come on the foundations set by his ancestors who fulfilled God's will. He does not appear out of thin air. There is a process which takes time. The Jewish people are being prepared to receive him. It happens at the peak of the Roman empireculture which cannot be an accident. Smack in the heart of the empire with pagan beliefs. God has set the table to spread his message. Jesus was not born into some deserted island in the Indian Ocean. He comes to a people with a monotheistic belief. They know he is coming to them (Genesis 3:15). Why is he coming? He comes to free us from Satan's grasp. He brings salvation John 12:44-50. It is now up to us to live a pure life. We have a personal responsibility. Use it or lose it. We disobeyed God and it is up to us to reverse the mess we are in. Everyone blames God because they don't want to accept any responsibility. He sends us the Christ to showgive us the way out.
