About

Romans 5:7 RSV  7 Why, one will hardly die for a righteous man—though perhaps for a good man one will dare even to die.

Doing a study on the use of the word "good" in the Bible. No man was called good. This verse is as close as it gets. And notice.  That a "good" man would rank above a "righteous" man. Some current wisdom on the word good is that is should be equated with the word perfect. And since it would be impossible for God to create another perfect being, ( the omnipotence paradox). There is only one that is. Understanding though, that all translations are faithful approximations.
