Theology is an organized body of knowledge. Its primary object is God; its secondary objects are beatitude and the means which lead towards union with God. As it relates to knowledge, it is not irrational or contrary to reason, but as it relates to God, it is supra-rational, that is it contains things above man's reason to grasp except by the light of faith. To be a good theologian requires being a good philosopher and a good logician.
