Is there a biblical reason to limit information about creation to Genesis?
@Tennman7 - Did you read any of the linked articles in my answer? I can't possibly copy all that to comments. Most of the direct quotes are from Deuterocanonical works. A listing of those appears in the link above. Famously Jude (an apostle) directly quotes 1 Enoch (an apocraphal work). This actually led Martin Luther to lobby against the inclusion of Jude in the Protestant canon. A list of apocryphal references can be found here and in the link above.

What is the first documented usage of "Prima Scriptura"?
@GreatfulDisciple - I actually think it was your answer that more or less spawned the answer. Your statement "usage came first, then the term came later" made me wonder who came up with the term to describe the doctrine.

What is the earliest documented usage of the term "Sola Scriptura"?
I agree. No one needs an exact phrase to teach a biblical truth, however my question was really designed to answer when/how this phrase became popular, who coined the term, and why.
