A holy person of God, depending on the tradition can refer to"the communion of saints" (I.e. All believers) or be restricted only to those who have undergone a formal review, beatification, and proof of a miracle after their death

Use this tag both for the general practice or specific instances of formally recognizing specific people as 'saints', as done by the Catholic church; and for the doctrine that all Christians are to be considered 'saints'.
