For questions relating to the Personal Ordinariates established under Anglicanorum Coetibus.

Pope Benedict XVI promulgated Anglicanorum Coetibus ("Groups of Anglicans") providing a structure by which members of Anglican Churches could join the Catholic Church while retaining elements of their patrimony, "a treasure to be shared".

This tag is for questions relating to the Personal Ordinariates established by the Apostolic Constitution, currently The Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham (England & Wales, and Scotland); The Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St Peter (USA); The Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of the Southern Cross (Australia, Japan).

Strictly, calling these Ordinariates "Anglican" is a misnomer: they are not Anglican, and neither are their members, but it is a convenient shorthand for a tag.
