(I am new at studying about Christ and Bible.)

I have read several articles about Michael the archangel, who is meant for the protection of people and souls.

Out of curiosity, I wondered: since Jesus is Son of God/Prophet, why didn't God's Archangel Michael save Jesus when he was crucified?
