According to [this][1] and [this][2] other question, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus is the same as Michael the Archangel. I am curious about the importance of this viewpoint. Is this a "core tenet" for Jehovah's Witnesses (one that possibly other beliefs rest upon), i.e. is it something similar to, say, the belief in Trinity is for the Catholic Church?
