I would like to know what is meant by "Satan went out from the presence of the Lord" in Job 1:12 & Job 2:7 in the context of God being omnipresent. If God is present everywhere how could Satan leave God's presence?

The same might also be asked of Cain. And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. Genesis 4:16. – Nigel J Nov 8 at 19:15
