In the mid-to-late 1990s, my family and I went to a Christian book store and bought a cassette that we played to death. Since then we lost the tape and my searches online haven't produced anything. I know this cassette exists!

So here's what I remember. There's a song called, " I can read you like a book." From what I remember it goes something like,

I can read you like a book,
by the cover how you look.
When I see you with a smile,
and a twinkle in your eye,
it's a for sure sign how you're feeling inside.

That's all all I can remember about that song.

There's another song called, "One more night with the frogs." It's the story of Moses and The Pharaoh.

Any help is highly appreciated!

  • How many years ago is "when I was younger"? – Andrew Leach Oct 11 at 22:52
  • It'd been in the 1990s. Maybe mid to late? I was born in 1984. – House of Freaks Oct 13 at 0:41
  • A search for “One more night with the frogs” brings up several things - one of which might be relevant. The words of the song you are looking for are too similar to many other things to turn up anything easily. – neil Oct 13 at 20:38
  • I went to a subreddit that helps find Christian songs and such. While a version of The Frog song was found, I was told that it's possible just a local vaction bible study tape. Apparently in the 90s these were very popular to sale locally to help local churches. So reason it's impossible to find online now, is because it's a very local thing. But thanks everyone for helping! – House of Freaks Oct 28 at 21:14
