Rephrased to make less speculative
Nov 2, 2015 at 18:20 comment added anonymous We are given evidence that the angels of heaven may visit those on earth and consult with God. Since angels are currently in the presence of God, there is no need for prayer, but face-to-face communication is possible. I'm not saying these things for a fact. God sent Angels down to Joe Smith for example. Moroni was an angel and helped guide Joseph in the discovery and restoration of the LDS church. I believe (visible or not) that angels and ancestors are always and are watching over us and in righteousness, may protect us from evil. Look up Joseph Smith History and D&C for more info.
