Mar 12, 2014 at 13:13 comment added Steve The Bible doesn't tell us what Adam's motivation was. However, since we are all sinners, we shouldn't have to look far for an answer. Anyway, one doesn't have to be deceived in order to sin. Christians can sin, knowing full well that it is wrong.
Mar 11, 2014 at 17:45 comment added Peter Turner Gotta VTC this, I'd like to answer it from a Catholic perspective because I've heard an interesting explanation in the Theology of the Body. But since you're not asking for something that can be definitively answered within a particular theological framework, it's not useful for people to answer the question.

Mar 11, 2014 at 2:24 comment added Shovas Thought I might get one of these responses, I've read enough stackexchange to see that might happen :) Does stackexchange answer what the positions are? Is that a better way to frame this question?

Mar 11, 2014 at 2:10 comment added David Stratton This doesn't look like a really good fit for this particular site. The question seems to be asking for our opinions on the validity of a line of thinking, which is good for a discussion forum, but not this site. This site is intentionally not an open discussion forum. I'd recommend you read help page and How we are different than other sites?
