Nov 6, 2017 at 9:45 comment added random_forest_fanatic @HelloWorld Thanks for the nice post! It's interesting how we revert to our moral values when making these arguments (as do i)! I understand your argument that you can't believe in universal salvation because of Hitler; instead, I must believe in universal salvation because I believe we were all created and loved by God. And if God loves us all, why wouldn't he save us all? I think of my children and I would never allow them to experience eternal damnation. Doesn't God love everyone more than I love my kids? And isn't God powerful enough to save all? That's why I believe in universalism.

Aug 12, 2013 at 15:27 comment added HelloWorld Please think that I have not come to argue, nor speak in an angry tone but rather it is with great, tremedous concern that I share this. When I read that some believe that everyone including Hitler will end up in heaven, I knew such was not true and that it was a fatal deception. I desperately desire that we all come to unity of faith in the truth and be prepared for the coming of Jesus. My character and yours both need improvement, we must reflect the lovely image of Jesus fully. May the Lord help us to be transformed in this lifetime.
Aug 12, 2013 at 15:24 comment added HelloWorld Based on 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 if you would be a saint in heaven you must first be a saint on earth. The traits you cherish will be not changed by death or resurrection. You will come up from the grave with the same disposition you manifested in home and society. Jesus does not change the character at his coming, the work of transformation must be done now. Our daily lives are determining our eternal destiny. See also Revelation 22:11. To go ahead this message will make us false witnesses, weighed and found wanting and leave unprepared both ourselves and others for the kingdom of God.
Aug 12, 2013 at 15:20 comment added HelloWorld Regarding your second question, yes that is true that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but it is written "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."(1 Cor 6:9-11
Aug 12, 2013 at 15:16 comment added HelloWorld @Josh: Hi friend good question, it doesn't say it will burn them up to making them new, it says "You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this,” Says the Lord of hosts. (Malachi 4:3) Here the Bible clearly says that they are not made new, but rather are burned until they become ashes, hopefully you see this friend, as the Bible could not be any clearer.
Aug 12, 2013 at 10:46 comment added random_forest_fanatic @HelloWorld: Isn't God often referred to as a burning fire so many times throughout scripture? I believe Malachi 4:1 is saying that God will subject the wicked to his burning presence and it will "burn them up" to the point of making them new. Also, doesn't all of humanity "do wickedly"? How then could God save anyone? My interpretation is that all do wickedly and all will be burned/judged, but the judgment is purifying love. And while my message may appear to be dangerous as it is "peace and safety", have you considered the dangers of your message which places bounds on the love of God?

Aug 11, 2013 at 1:38 comment added HelloWorld To think that God will save even the enemies of his grace is a tragic deception for it is written "For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,” Says the Lord of hosts, “That will leave them neither root nor branch." (Malachi 4:1). Since it leaves them neither root nor branch they do not come back. Jesus said "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 7:21) You are receiving a peace and safety message which is extremely dangerous.

Jul 16, 2013 at 23:06 comment added Ryan Frame Hi, and welcome to Christianity SE! Could you perhaps provide a summary of the referenced article (especially the Scriptural foundation of the argument, as the question is specifically looking for biblical support of the teaching)? If the linked document disappears, future visitors will have nothing to read.
