Jul 8, 2021 at 16:48 | comment | added | asg | Eph 2:8-9 could even be saying that faith is the gift of God. But Rom 6:23 clearly states that eternal life in Christ is a gift from God.
Oct 15, 2015 at 17:42 | comment | added | Adam Heeg | "However, Scripture clearly teaches that eternal life is not earned through obedience to the Law. It is a gift from God, not of works." I thought grace was a gift from God not eternal life. Isn't there a disagreement between Lutheran Protestants and most other times/views of Christianity about this topic and thus stating "clearly teaches" is misleading?
