No major doctrine? What about monotheism? Major enough? Now change bnei El to Bnei Israel in deuteronomy and you got a problem there.

comment Why did God become angry with Balaam?
So if we pray asking for wealth to God, God will hate us?

comment Why did God become angry with Balaam?
If he wants God to side with Balak, what is wrong with that? Don't we want God to be on our side and our friends' side? If that means not fighting the jews or whatever, then God could have just say so.

comment How is it that an unchanging and omniscient God can have “regret” as He did in Gen 6:7?
+1. Perhaps God is like Superman. Different writers have different concept. Also this site is supposedly secular.

comment Why didn't God decide where the temple should be built during the exodus?
How do we know that the book of Isaiah is indeed written by Isaiah 150 years before cyrus? What we have are copies and the original may have been written after Cyrus. I know the book of Ruth must have been written after king David's reign to further legitimate his reign. Some gospel also predict destruction of Jerusalem and people think gospel must have been written after 70 AD.

And how do we know that Isaiah talked about cyrus 150 years before he became king?

Another theory would be that the bible is written by mere humans and hence, in the story, God, originally isn't all knowing. Then the canon changes. I wonder if I can know which theory is correct.

comment If believing that Jesus is God is that important, why doesn't Jesus say it more often?
+1 . You are he christ, the son of the Living God does not equal You are God. Even claiming that one is one with God doesn't mean claiming that one is God. Kabalists also claim that Torah, Israel, and God are one.

NET translates that probably from samaritan bible where God has chosen. What's the correct translation anyway?

It doesn't say he will reveal. It says he will choose.

comment Why didn't God decide where the temple should be built during the exodus?
The bible doesn't say that God hasn't revealed the place for worship. The bible says that God hasn't decided yet.

The quote is from the bible. I am questioning if God knew what he will choose. I am questioning his omniscience.

Actually I want to hear several sides of the answer. How do you know it's in Mi Yodeya?

It's a different question. This one question God's foresight. That one is just historical.

comment How accurate is King James' Bible?
KJV proponent says that KJV significantly differ from NIV. When something differs they can't both be right. So that means God doesn't preserve accuracy of the bible then? In this question, I presume NIV is correct and question KJV accuracy?
