Did God create man to be gods themselves? @Drew: Multiple would be good, and the most conclusive answer would be accepted. |

How did all the animals fit into Noah's ark? My main point was this--even from a religious standpoint, most creatures on earth were given the ability (some would say the privilege) to breed. I don't think it contradicts all religion, nor does it reignite the flame of science vs. religion, to say that it's impossible that, within the restrictions of religious belief, animals of different kinds could have mated. That's my point. Also, time didn't have much to do with it, but a lot of dog breeds have turned up within the last two millennia, so it's not entirely impossible. |

How did all the animals fit into Noah's ark? @MarcGravell: Well, think of it this way. Human reproduction will result with another human, but humans come in all different shapes, sizes, and colors. They're all still humans though. Think of 'animals' as an all-encompassing term for the variants of creatures we know today. Their reproduction works the same way. What happens if an African-American and a Caucasian have a baby? It will usually adopt traits from both parents and look a bit unusual by our standards of the human race. That's really my point here. |

How did all the animals fit into Noah's ark? @Fabian: Again, the issue of evolution applies more to humans. Scientists believe that humans evolved from an earlier ancestor, the ape. I don't think there is much conflict over evolution of animals. |

How did all the animals fit into Noah's ark? @Fabian: It's not exactly evolution (that concept applies more to the scientific creation of the human species that we know today). Animals and all living things, even humans, have the ability to multiply. Different animals reproducing is just like humans of different ethnicity doing the same thing. |
