Stack Exchange employs me as a Community Manager. I've been known to respond to jericson@stackexchange.com. Alternatively, I maintain an office on chat. (Please ignore the meta cruft.)

You can read about what I've done over the years in my curriculum vitae.

On a personal note, I'm married and have three children. Our oldest son loves school, friends, games, and reading. (He can't wait to get on our LEGO® Answers site, but he's not quite old enough. My posts there are usually at his request.) Two of my children happen to have been born on the same day. I sometimes write about that experience.

Don't have time for a full review of something? Why not try my 5-second reviews?

Occasionally, I write a post for Eschewmenical.

comment Does the Nicene Creed condemn Chiliasm?
@Dan O'Day: I did a lot of reading yesterday, but I never got around to digging into the links you provided in the question. My impression is that there's a lot of guesswork (read "speculation") involved in trying to determine what the councils thought about Chiliasm because the councils had more pressing issues and never got around to addressing it. Does that seem accurate?

comment What is the Catholic position on Exodus 20:4?
Hi John. While I appreciate the thoughts, I was really hoping for answers that explained the Catholic perspective in detail. Please see How to Answer.

comment What is the LDS Church's affiliation with the Boy Scouts?
This is an excellent question I've had myself. Certainly I've noticed many of my son's scouting friends are Mormon and many of my LDS friends and family are active in scouting.

comment What personal possessions did Pope John Paul II have at the time of death?
Good find. According to Wikipedia, Ostrów Wielkopolski is the birthplace of the Red Baron. A news article asserts John Paul II sponsored a school (named after him) that received a part of his cloak as a relic.

comment How should one reconcile a wrong against another person?
@Monica Cellio: This is like my third draft, so I'm clearly struggling to express myself. ;) I have some ideas about how to be more clear, but I suspect it won't happen before the weekend.

comment Which are some of the Non Trinitarian sects in Christianity
I'm going to retract my "list question" label. But I still think this question ought to be closed since Wikipedia answers it well.

comment In which denominations is naturism unacceptable?
I'm voting to close because I think that it merely sets up a strawman to be knocked down. As the accepted answer points out, it's hard to identify which people find naturism wrong for societal reasons and which think it's a sin.

comment What traditions believe that a woman's relationship with God must go through some man and how do they support it from the Bible?
I'm voting to close because I think its not constructive to ask primarily who believes this. Rather, I think asking where the belief came from or how it's supported from the Bible are more constructive.

comment How may we reconcile the Blessed Virgin Mary's maturity with her age?
@jayyeshu: Heh. That's a good and valid criticism. However, the question does not frame the question in any particular Christian tradition, so it might be better to say there's something amiss with the question. (To be fair, I do believe that Luke was speaking with the power of the Holy Spirit as he wrote. Mary's son is profitable for study for that very reason.)
