Is God capable of ever doing wrong? 1 John 1:5 "God is light; in him there is no darkness at all." and James 1:17 "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." |

Is God capable of ever doing wrong? He is saying that God defines the concept "right" and "wrong", and anything, EVERYTHING he does, is by definition "right". He can't do wrong because what he does is only right. |

What does the LDS Church teach about the pre-existence of each person prior to conception? The personal pronoun in that chapter is spoken by Wisdom itself, not a person. It doesn't appear to be from the reference of a human, but is saying that wisdom and knowledge existed in the beginning. |

What is the Biblical basis for the belief that life begins at conception? Not that I'm arguing against life beginning at conception, but people seem to think that it's very clear in the Bible, and I don't see it that clearly there. |

What is the Biblical basis for the belief that life begins at conception? There are many versions (in English, which is all I can read), which have that verse from Exodus saying "miscarriage" or "lose the child". I don't know which interpretation is more correct. It certainly seems that causing a miscarriage should be pretty serious, and yet some versions indicate that is not a "life for life" punishment. |

What is the basis for the Catholic teaching that abortion is immoral/sinful? I've never understood why that is about conception instead of God's knowledge, knowledge that knows of us "Before" conception. |
