comment Why is the word Lord in all Capital letters in the Old Testament but not in the new?
I thought it was a good addition to the other answer, because the introdutory notes are the place to look for a lot of information like that.

comment Why the resurrection?
But, this gives more complete reasons, and thus is a better answer.

He is the firstborn from among the dead, showing not only physical life after death, but if he's first, others will follow.

@BijoyThangaraj, you should then edit your question and make it clear you are not talking about never sinning in your entire life. As written, it can be taken that way.

comment How should a Christian object to those who say Paradise may be a little boring?
THIS world is a disappointment, in some ways, but heaven? The disappointments of this world are because of our broken relationship with God, our sin. Take the wonderful parts of this world and make it so much better that we don't have the words to describe it (as the apostle John was trying to do), add in things we can't even begin to imagine, and combine it with the relationship with God we were made for. If that is disappointing, then God is not the God described by Christianity.

If we were disappointed, then God would not be God. God created a great diversity on this world for our pleasure, and knows what we want and need. I have no worries, and I don't expect boring floating on clouds and taking harp lessons!

comment All the references where Jesus is offered worship
And, when the crippled man was presented to him through the roof, the first thing he said was "I forgive your sins." Only God can forgive sins, and when the religious leaders started to object, he asked, which is easier, to forgive sins or to heal, and then proceeded to heal him too. In other words, he presented himself as God in many ways throughout his ministry.

@Bijoy Thangaraj, in this question, you appear to be asking if we can life a completely sinless life, but in your comments below, you imply you are perhaps asking if we can, after becoming a Christian, attain a state where we no longer sin. Which is it?

comment What are the theological implications/problems with theistic evolution?
As for point 4, it seemed to me that a self-assembling world is a pretty cool feat. Software that self-installs with a single click is much more polished and requires more skill than software that needs files put here and there, dlls registered, ini files edited. A world created by God, using evolution and time, seems like a really impressive process.

comment What is the difference between a professing and a non-professing Christian with regards to their faith, beliefs, etc?
Non-professing might also be the cultural Christian. They call themselves Christian if asked, but don't attend any church, nor let any religion interfere with their life.

comment Who is “Samuel” in the story of Saul, Samuel, and the Medium?
Yeah, except that the witch was surprised. If she was in control, as she expected to be, she would not have been surprised.

NT is most definitely NOT in the order they were written.

comment Should Christians marry non-Christians?
@MarcGravell: "She is a good, supportive person and friend" is a reason, but it still falls short. There is something vitally important to her that you can't really talk about. And on Sunday (or Saturday) mornings, she wants to attend church and you want to go out boating with her. Someone in her life, either you or God, will have to suffer in that relationship.

comment Does God change?
How is that not an example of God showing himself in a context that we can understand, allowing us to change?
