What are the Biblical reasons for getting married? Your third part could be greatly expanded, since all through the OT God describes his relationship with his people in a similar manner to a marriage (when they were following him) and as prostitutes and adulterers (when they were straying). Marriage was and is a picture of the relationship we should have with him. |

When was “time” created in Genesis? Actually, even from an old earth perspective, "in the beginning God created" implies that time was one of the first things created. Time and space and matter could have all be created at first. |

What are the major differences between evangelical Christianity and Mormonism? Can you add to the first point that evangelicals believe there is one and only one God, that Jesus cannot be both divine and separate from the Father, because that would make more than one God. Not one God for this world, but one God, period. And the Spirit is also of that one God. |

In what different ways is the word “cult” used as a label inside Christianity? I disagree, @Caleb. It has to do with techniques to keep one within the group, rather than religious teaching. I would contend that the Exclusive Brethern, while having a rather orthodox Christian theology, is a cult because of how it controls its members. |

In what different ways is the word “cult” used as a label inside Christianity? I've seen the word cult used with point 5 when the person is subjected to isolation from friends and family still in the group if they leave the group. |

Does God lie? And does devil tell the truth? I don't know...maybe death is more than a simple cessation of physical life. |

What is the difference between a church and a social club? +1 about people of diversity coming together in a church, vs people with something in common coming together in a social club. |

Do people in non-Christian cultures use swear words related to the dominant religion? So, maybe this isn't the place to ask it (since the question has been closed), but that is a great question. I wonder that too. |

Does God have a sense of humor? Does he laugh? All through the OT there are puns made on names, names that God gave to people. Some may say that a pun is the lowest form of humor, but I think they are funny, and they come from God. |

God is love, pure, and all good, and omnipotent? What does omnipotent, all powerful, have to do with love or hate? The answers below are good ones. |

Why didn't Jesus give proof to the priests? +100 to @Jay for that last comment. Christianity spread very fast in the first years and perhaps faster by having some opposition from the priests. People couldn't just kind of belive, kind of follow. |

All the references where Jesus is offered worship @TRiG - the religious leaders considered his statement to be blasphemous, since only God can forgive sins. And if you read more of the statement, he goes on to say "Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” He certainly WAS claiming to do it himself. |

What is the message of Matthew 9:5? I have to agree with @DJClayworth: it's easy to SAY something, but how do you tell if someone's sins are really forgiven? So he DID something else that they could see: made him physically well too. He was using his authority in healing as showing that he also had authority to forgive sins; he wasn't just making an empty claim. |

Do Fetuses have souls? Is the aquisition of a soul instantenous or continuous? That last verse says "Before" we were formed in the womb, so while it is commonly used in this context, it sure seems to be speaking of the power of God, not of when like (and souls) begin. |

Why is the word Lord in all Capital letters in the Old Testament but not in the new? I thought it was a good addition to the other answer, because the introdutory notes are the place to look for a lot of information like that. |
