comment The Christology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer
@JonEricson Exactly. According to his close friend Eberhard Bethge, it's Bonhoeffers "accademical highlight". Bonhoeffer himself considered the Christology lecture as the most difficult task at all, since everything, which was previously thought and experimented, had here to be checked for its ultimate ground (DB 265).

comment Did Martin Luther know Hebrew or Greek?
@gentmatt I'm not sure. I found on p. 376 of Nikolaus Walter, Praeparatio Evangelica, 1997, footnote 101, that cleary states, that Luther was more familiar with Hebrew and gives further references.

comment Did Martin Luther know Hebrew or Greek?
I think Luther was more familiar with Hebrew than Greek. See Gerhard Ebeling, "Luther. Einführung in sein Denken", 2006, p. 47: "Luther fühlte sich im Hebräischen wesentlich mehr als Fachmann als neben dem Gräzisten Melanchton im Griechischen." ("Luther felt much more in Hebrew as expert than in Greek next to Hellenist Melanchton")
