I'm a hobbyist programmer, part-time sysadmin, and full-time data center automation consulting engineer.
I have experience with myriad editors, shells, and OSes. And, while I'm an ardent emacs user, am pretty much beyond the religious wars of "what's best" when it comes to platform, editor, or toolset: if it works for the problem at hand, and you know it, it's [probably] worthwhile :)

What must one do in order to lose his or her salvation? @Caleb - this doesn't completely identify what traditions, nor the biblical support .. whereas the one I linked looks for the biblical basis of the concept |

What is the Biblical basis against the Calvinist doctrine of Irresistible Grace? if God's grace is not "irresistible", He's not sovereign |

Does God create some people Heterosexual and others Homosexual? @Caleb - I'm not sure which traditions would disagree ... for example, some baptist churches teach now that homosexuality is not a sin, whereas most teach that it is. |

Do any Christian denominations have any policies to prevent nepotism? imho, "a ministry that has high revenue" shouldn't 'exist' - the "revenue" should be going to do the work of the ministry, and not be siphoned-off by the workers |

Matthew 1:19, Divorce, and Virginity @Caleb - it could just as easily have been pointed-out that David married Abigail who, before he died, was Nabal's wife. |

Matthew 1:19, Divorce, and Virginity betrothals were not akin to our modern concept of engagement - they were as legally important as marriage, but the relationship would not be consummated until after the wedding |

How is the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus interpreted? @BigM - just because it was not documented, does not mean it was done: lots of things about heaven and earth were not documented, but obviously are there :) .. the lake of fire was created separately for the devil and his angels - whether that was before the creation of earth (as most I personally know believe), or at some point later is unclear. However, it is clear that the topic is not touched-upon in the creation account, and presuming to know when it was done is dangerous. |

What about the story of the “Rich Man and Lazarus” indicates whether it is a parable or not? @Narnian - go for it :) ... as it reads, there is no introduction to it being a parable vs a "real" story |

How is the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus interpreted? I, also, have to take issue with declaring this to be a parable. While it certainly could be, there is nothing in the recounting that demands it. |

How is the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus interpreted? "hell is a different creation all by itself created when man sinned" - this contradicts your previous correct declaration (as a quote from Revelation) that indicates hell is thrown into the lake of fire because it was prepared for the "devil and his angels" |
