I'm a software developer/engineer/hacker who lives in Orlando, FL with his beautiful wife, and life changing daughter. I'm a technology geek who loves getting away from the computer, and getting out into nature on a good backpacking trip. Never wanting my job or desires to define me. I am a son of the living God. I am constantly aware of my failures and the God who sees all of them yet still loves me and died for me.

Why do Jews not accept Jesus as the Messiah? That's only partially correct. While Jews don't recognize the Old Testament they do have the Tanakh which includes much of the same prophets (Isaiah for example) and their prophecies. |

Which are the parts of the Old Testament that point to Jesus? Am I miss-reading that or shouldn't that say: "The New [Testament] is in the Old, concealed; the Old is in the New, revealed." |

Are there any Biblical prophecies that were understood before they were fulfilled? This was the first one that came to mind for me as well. |

“Jesus said to them ”I am" (John 18:6) - Did Jesus break a taboo here? @TRiG That's precisely my point the phrase I AM (YHWH) would have been in Hebrew in the Torah and Jesus would most likely have been speaking Aramaic therefore he would have been free to say it. I've edited the answer a bit for clarification |

Have there been such an attempt made to make the comprehensive list of all New Testament scrolls ever found? @TRiG yeah after reading the edit that makes sense. |

Have there been such an attempt made to make the comprehensive list of all New Testament scrolls ever found? Lists are usually not a good fit for se sites and asking for external sources kind of defeats the purpose of the site in general. |

Is Cain saved or he will go into the eternal perdition? I agree the traditions here are what make the question interesting. |

Biblical support for why something is a sin? I think this question would be better if you provided an example. |

Do the temples need cleaning? @MasonWheeler, I've updated my answer a bit. Let me know if that explains the point better. |

Do the temples need cleaning? @MasonWheeler Yeah I was just trying make the destinction between someone selling something and someone stealing something. What I'm trying to point out was that Jesus' focus wasn't at people selling stuff but their motives and business practices. |

Do the temples need cleaning? Exchanging money or even making money does not equal robbing someone. What the sellers were doing at the temple was morally wrong and probably illegal. Can you imagine the outrage if someone came through your church during worship and pick pocketed everyone? That's what I think Jesus was expressing here righteous anger over swindlers robbing those who came to simply worship. |

What are the theological implications/problems with theistic evolution? @Chelonian I'm not arguing that two identical things are different purely because the process to create them was different. I'm arguing that there's a difference in value, as in your your generic pharmaceuticals example (I like them too :)). |

What are the theological implications/problems with theistic evolution? @Chelonian Where we've come from is absolutely important, it's important enough to God that the Bible devotes large amounts of space to tracking lineages. If we are mere apes + 1 then our value is equal to apes + 1. How you answer this question derives an even greater answer about the sanctity and sacredness of human life. |
