Can angels be saved? "The reason is that the angels do not learn and grow as we do; all their knowledge and inclinations are fixed from the moment of their creation, and they cannot change that. Good angels will remain good and bad ones (demons) will remain bad." This seems illogical, and the implication is that God intentionally created "bad" angels. But scripture tells us that at least initially God's creation was perfect. So the angels all must have been perfect, and so they must have had the will to rebel against God. This would negate a "fixed knowledge and inclination" theory. |
