1 Corinthians 4:15 doesn't have the word father in the Greek. Father wasn't used as a spiritual title for men in these verses. Father is used for physical fathers or figuratively, but not spiritually.

I didn't know there were more than one tradition of tithing. What other tradition of tithing is there in Christianity? I thought people just gave 10% of their income because of OT laws of tithing.

There are some believers that try to observe the law. eliyah.com/law.htm has reasons why and responses to those that do not. They know they can't follow everything perfectly and rely on grace/mercy. The understand they are not saved by observing the law and understand legalism.
