I am a software engineer with many years experience crafting code. I started with basic on a Commodore64. Then progressed to QuickBasic, VB4, VB6, VB.Net and eventually made the switch to C#. Many other languages and tools got abused along the way.

Is Hell eternal, or do some/all escape it? I would caution you to be careful about becoming dogmatic over one translation. Translations can easily be altered by the translators perspective. Whatever translation you use, if you pray for understanding, God will give you an understanding. If you find that understanding conflicting with the translation you are using, then pray about that as well and you will receive confirmation on what translation to use. |

Is Hell eternal, or do some/all escape it? You are correct that Death is separate from Hell. Hades is the word for hell in Greek. If you want to get particular about entomology then we should start with the source language it was written in. In the case of Revelation, it was written in Greek. |

What is the biblical justification for permitting female pastors? This question could be clarified by defining the difference between the act of preaching, being a pastor and holding an office in the priesthood. I do not believe that pastor is a priesthood position, but a title for the person who manages a church branch. I am not even sure that the pastor has to be a priesthood member, that may just be coincidental because the priesthood runs the church. |
