What passages support that God once walked the earth as a man? It would be helpful if you backed up the bullets in the Assumptions section with scripture. |

What passages support that God once walked the earth as a man? @Richard, therein lies the problem. If you can't answer a question about God using the Bible, what's the purpose of this site? |

What passages support that God once walked the earth as a man? @Richard, I don't agree with the meta question you posted. I believe that the Doctrine of the JW's is wrong in many ways. I can't in good conscience respond using that viewpoint. Forcing someone to respond in a viewpoint they don't agree with or don't understand has the potential to alienate large groups of users. I would hate to look at a post and say - "Man, I can't post what I think the Bible says about [Insert Topic Here] because I'll get voted down for my viewpoint." All users should be encouraged to respond. Especially users like Wikis who use scripture to back up their beliefs. |

What passages support that God once walked the earth as a man? @Wikis, I agree completely! I only mentioned it because you said If, however, you are referring to God the Father or The Holy Spirit on Earth, please add a comment and I will add those verses (but then He is not described, "as a man"). |

What passages support that God once walked the earth as a man? I believe the OP is trying to determine if God the Father is eternal. Based on this post and previous posts, I believe that he's referring to Joseph Smith's teachings that God was once a man like us. I suggest providing scripture to prove the eternality of the Father as well. |

Are Christians bound to the laws of their country? Could you clarify this statement: And God shall protect us should our motives be pure and our hearts remain faithful. What type of protection are you referring to? Spiritual protection? Physical protection? |

Should we refrain from sin to avoid damnation or to be good? @hippitrail, It does seem like there will be less intances of "one right answer" on this site than on other SE sites. |

Should we refrain from sin to avoid damnation or to be good? @hippietrail, I understand that on a site like this, with a broad range of ideas and beliefs, it may be difficult to accept a single answer as correct. If you do, however, find an answer to be correct or helpful to you, please consider accepting it :). Not only on this question, but on past and future questions as well. |
