Husband, Father, Catholic ... also a corporate IT stooge, just waiting for the scorn and ridicule to be heaped upon me.

Do Christians believe that more sinful people suffer more on Earth? I have no definitive knowledge. I am Catholic, and our doctrine is pretty clear on this. As to the rest, I don't know. catholicbible101.com/whywesuffer.htm |

What is the distinction between Consubstantial and One in Being? I much prefer "one in substance" to "consubstantial"; it is clearer and flows better. But I don't get to make those decisions. I would have enjoyed being a fly on the wall during the committee meetings and discussion about this one. |

As a protestant, may I participate in the Eucharist (Communion) when visiting a Catholic church? Not all Catholics understand the deep philosophical and theological implications, but they are pretty clear that they are consuming much more than dry, tasteless wafers and bad wine. |

How do Roman Catholics understand salvation in light of Romans 3&4? I am confused. What "Roman Catholic doctrine of salvation" is not consistent with Romans? |
