Pope Leo XIII’s Prayer to St. Michael – a Prophecy about the Future Apostasy in Rome These most crafty enemies have filled and inebriated with gall and bitterness the Church, the spouse of the immaculate Lamb, and have laid impious hands on her most sacred possessions. In the Holy Place itself, where has been set up the See of the most holy Peter and the Chair of Truth for the light of the world, they have raised the throne of their abominable impiety, with the iniquitous design that when the Pastor has been struck, the sheep may be scattered

The most famous Catholic Prophecy in the world over 900 years old In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit Peter the Roman (Antipope Francis), who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End

comment Are there Biblical reasons why a Christian should not believe that Global Warming is happening
Rev 16:8 does indicate something will happen along those lines, but not from CO2

comment For Catholics who object to Vatican II, what are the key issues?
@Ryan The issue is not the Bishops. The 'Orthodox' have valid orders but they are not in the Catholic Church because they are schismatics. For the most part the Vatican II sect does not have valid Bishops, because V2 changed the Latin Rite of Episcopal Consecration and rendered it invalid. The issue is that they do not have The Faith. That is issue #7. If you have a lot of questions we can move this to chat.

comment For Catholics who object to Vatican II, what are the key issues?
@Ryan Its similar to what happened during King Henry VIII. The Anglicans broke off and made their own religion, similarly the Vatican II broke off from the Catholic Church and made their own religion, but they possess the buildings like the Arians did during the Arian Crisis. The Catholic Church still exists in those who hold the Catholic faith. There have been many Antipopes in Church history.

@StJohnoftheCross Sedevacantist does describe my position and I take no offense, but there are others who call themselves traditionalist that would be excluded by this level of specificity, specifically the SSPX.

@Caleb The term used is traditionalist, or sometimes derisively by outsiders they might say "so-called traditionalist"

comment According to Catholic doctrine, is every woman that has an abortion automatically going to hell?
@MattGutting So your position logically follows that it is a disservice to inform someone that something is a violation of God's law, because if you inform them then the can commit mortal sins, whereas before they couldn't because they did not know? I obviously reject the Vatican II catechism.

comment What are the differences between Mormonism and Islam, and how do Mormons react to comparisons with it?
Both claim their books come from mystical tablets and that the prophet was given a way to read them (Muhammad was illiterate, J. Smith supposedly used a seer-stone). The Muslims believe the tablets in heaven containing the Koran are eternal, and the Mormons believe that the angel Moroni gave golden tablets to Smith.
