Without God is there only evil? I believe that people are capable of good things, thats why are capable of love and compassion. But the bible says that God is the root of these things (even in non-Believers). At the same time, human behavior shows us that we can loose these things during long periods of suffering, or even short periods of severe suffering. |

Why do religious people find it hard to accept that you don't need religion to have a good moral code? Will fix. Might even delete it, not very productive. |

Why do religious people find it hard to accept that you don't need religion to have a good moral code? This question sounds very rhetorical. From a Biblical perspective the answe would be that not all people without God are evil, many non believers are good, and that even those who find God are still true and literal sinners. |

Have the Jehovah's Witnesses predicted the end of the world? Correct answer: mutiple times, many (if not all) have come and passed. |

What is the source of hatred often perceived by Christians in western society? @fredsbend - that's new to me. I would be genuinely interested in sources. I have always been under the belief that it was the removal of Christ. |

What is the source of hatred often perceived by Christians in western society? I agree with some of your first sentence, but the rest shows a rather skewed view even with the hint of truth that it contains. It seems that you recognize that many different 'sects' share different beliefs yet you don't separate hate, corruption, or even current anti-gay movements from Christianity. |

What is the source of hatred often perceived by Christians in western society? It's odd that 'Happy Holidays' is used as an example but 'Merry X-mas' is ignored. |

What is the source of hatred often perceived by Christians in western society? @Trig - are you really serious? How is this article anything other than racial bigotry? If anything your comment proves the legitimacy of this question. |

What is the source of hatred often perceived by Christians in western society? (Phone fritzed) many non-Christians reference past abuse from the church (such as the dark ages) without understanding that the church itself and it's followers were being exploited just as much as non-Christians in these eras. Much like branding all Muslims due to the acts of al-Qaeda |

What is the source of hatred often perceived by Christians in western society? @BrendanLong - erroneous feedback-loops are evident in non-Christians as well and could be seen as a cause for these types of questions. For example many non-Christians will reference past instances of abuse from 'the church |

Is the definition of “sin” subjective? Of whom's morals is it based on? The law is objective. Judgment is subjective. We will be judged largely by what's in our hearts - I believe that means motive, willpower exercised in self control, our internal understanding on the law, etc. I'll add more to my answer |
