Did the “spirit of Samuel” come from God? 1 Samuel 28:19 says "The Lord will deliver both Israel and you into the hands of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons will be with me". In this verse it is indicated that the spirit that claims to be Samuel said "..tomorrow you and your sons will be with me". This is a very powerful contradiction to the claim that the spirit is Samuel since Saul is not expected to be at the place where real Samuel is, after his death. Could you please clarify this context. |
