comment Is a moral society more open to the gospel than an immoral one?
@Richard I am thinking of a society where the commonly accepted standards of interpersonal behavior coincide with what the Bible presents, a society where behaviors are "good" but God is not sincerely worshipped. From a U.S. TV perspective, think Father Knows Best or Leave it to Beaver. Is this scenario too contrived?

comment On what basis do Christians sometimes claim to know what God's intentions are?
Instead of asking us to speculate on why people speculate on God's intentions, there's probably a related question that would be better to ask. Maybe something along the lines of: "Can we really know God's intentions in all situations?", but it seems like that would get a simple "No" for an answer.

comment What is the difference between man's soul and spirit?
Sorry if I sound dense... are you saying that man's spirit is what connects or comes between his body and soul?

comment Who is the prophet Moses mentioned in Deuteronomy 18:15?
@Pacerier A simple reading of the text seems to fit OT prophets. After quoting Deuteronomy in Acts 3:22-23, Peter points out in Acts 3:24 that "all the prophets ... have foretold these days." It seems to me that Peter quotes Deuteronomy to strengthen his appeal to listen to the prophets and believe in Jesus. In Acts 3:25-26 Peter is identifying Jesus as the offspring of Abraham through whom "all peoples on earth will be blessed."

comment Is incest a sin?
@Richard Noah's three sons and their wives were all on the ark. There's no mention of Noah having any daughters. Noah's grandchildren could have been marrying their cousins, not necessarily committing incest.
