Are other flood legends relevant to Christians? @MarcGravell If the Biblical account of Noah is true, there's one single event with only 8 survivors. After languages were confused at Bable (Genesis 11) the single human culture was split and the multiple cultures began to diverge. Each culture could carry on an account of the flood. |

Why and how do Creationists agree with microevolution but disagree with the idea of macroevolution @Richard The last sentence of one of the microevolution definitions you referenced states: "The accumulation of many microevolutionary changes results in macroevolution." |

How do young earth creationists reconcile the age of the universe with the speed of light, and visible distant objects? @RexKerr I don't know how many people share my view. Like I said in my answer, I know it is not a scientific view and I don't believe that science will ever be able to prove that the Bible correctly describes the act or process of creation. Personally, I think most (if not all) creation scientists are barking up the wrong tree. Most (if not all) short blurbs I've heard about how "science proves creation" contain serious scientific flaws. Trying to use to use science to prove a miracle sounds definitionally impossible. |

How do young earth creationists reconcile the age of the universe with the speed of light, and visible distant objects? It seems to me that you have edited your question to ensure that it can't be answered. Your question is directed at YECs, who by definition believe the universe (or at least the earth) is "young", but you categorically reject any answer that doesn't take it as a given that the universe is billions of years old. As it stands, I'm strongly tempted to vote to close because it's "not a real question". |

Why is God asking questions or appearing uncertain in the Bible if He's omniscient? It also explains 5 in the sense that a test can be viewed as a nonverbal question. |
