Is communion service at the rail vs. in the pews a function of denomination or church size? The front vs pew division isn't as cut and dried between protestant and Catholic as it might appear. In our Baptist church we may celebrate communion in the pews most of the time, but occasionally we will go forward to the communion table. We have no rules to follow, we just might change it up based on the service. |

Do Catholics officially recognize Protestants as Christians? I believe you meant to say "heart" not hearth which is the floor of a fireplace. I corrected some spelling and also fixed a word here and there to help the grammar. |

Is the Bible an inexhaustible source? @JonEricson, there is some great info in your possible duplicate, but that question doesn't answer why or how the Bible might be an inexhaustible source. |

Is the Bible an inexhaustible source? @Wikis, I am unsure of the questioner's source for this term, but my inclination is that he is referring to an inexhaustible source of wisdom, knowledge ect. Perhaps an infinite number of possible sermons would be a result of the inexhaustible nature of the the Holy Spirit reveals things to us through the scriptures. |

Is the Bible an inexhaustible source? I don't understand the down votes. This is precisely the type of answer I was hoping for. Is it the distinction between Word of God (Logos) vs word of God (Bible)? Isn't it the unlimited nature of God in the person of the Holy Spirit that uses the written word of God as an inexhaustible source of revelation to us? That being the case, is it incorrect to say that for a believer the Bible is inexhaustible? |
