From professional point of view, I'm an eternal student - I have already finished a master in Archaeology and now I study bachelor degree GIS - the computer part of everything needed to be an expert on Computer Aplications in Archaeology.

From spiritual point of view, I'm a young child in Christ (converted on Easter 2010, baptised a year later), a pilgrim to Santiago de Compostela (I have been there once and I hope it wasn't the last time), a Catholic and a member of Light-Life Movement.

And about hobbies, I'm a RPG enthusiast and I like hiking and everything I've already mentioned.

Here on SE, I've found a nice place to talk about Christianity and a source of information for my job. As a Czech patriot, I also hope my language will find its place here.

comment When did the practice of Confession in the Catholic Church begin?
What exactly is implausible? If it's the origin of individual confession in Ireland, I'll try to find some other sources, preferebly some explaining how it spread throughout Europe. I've read at least two books on this topic, one of them written by an Orthodox priest (unfortunately, the books were in Czech, so I can't just link them).

comment What's a reiki infused rosary?
@GregMcNulty: it's a method of healing and other magic through some mysterious energy. Unlike similar practices, the reikist gets energy from "somewhere" and the effect is only partially dependent on their will, that's why it's believed to be a gift of God by many New-agers. I have experience both with using reiki and with demonic oppression connected with it, or seeing others experiencing spiritual attacks while I felt energy flowing through me (and couldn't do anything about that except for pray to God). For details, ask a question like "Why is New Age considered evil by many Christians?"

comment Why are Protestants from the Church of England allowed to divorce?
It would be worth asking on hermeneutics.SE about historical context, I've read that it's more complicated than just a plain reason for divorce.
