What is the scope of God's will? Does God have a will in every specific situation? How is it that things happen that are not God's will? |

What does the Bible say about Capital Punishment? Regarding the stoning of the adulteress: Jesus made the bold assertion that even looking at someone with lust is adultery. Perhaps Jesus was appealing to the fact that in some way, all of these men had likely committed adultery themselves in some fashion and thus were equally guilty as the woman. If so, I don't see this as specifically opposing the practice of capital punishment itself, but rather opposition to passing judgement upon someone - especially when the judging party is itself guilty of the same crime. |

Is there anything unique to a christian marriage that non-christian marriages are deprived of? @DJ the actual ceremony is of little interest to me (unless it somehow affects the marriage on a fundamental level). The key difference I'm asking about is both humans in the marriage being "genuine" Christians or not. For added clarity and specificity, lets only consider marriages where both humans share the same faith (or lack thereof) |

What is the “paradise” that Jesus references in Luke 23:43? Thanks for providing a good answer for the primary question - I'll add another question for the second. |

Does God lie? And does devil tell the truth? for a direct answer in scripture, Hebrews 6:18 comes to mind, but I'm not sure if that applies to all of God's actions and statements, or just those two specific oaths he made to Abraham. the context is somewhat difficult for me to parse |

What does it mean that someone managed to live beyond 120 years? in this specific translation, it seems that 'normal' is a significant qualifier. likewise, normal humans have no more than 10 digits on their hands. of course some humans do have more, but statistically, it is not 'normal' (normal in the casual sense, not the distribution) |
