If Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) don't believe in a Holy Trinity, then who do they believe is God? @TRiG: Yes it would normally mean "in full agreement" when talking about normal mortal humans, but when talking about separate "personages" forming "the godhead" it stands out as perhaps being the more literal "sharing one mind between them". I don't believe the bible states anywhere whether minds are physical or not. If minds are not physical it would be a sensible reading to interpret sharing a single mind. |

Should we refrain from sin to avoid damnation or to be good? @James: Indeed I have wondered about how accepting answers should work on this particular SE! Generally on all SE sites I let my questions percolate a little to help decide which to accept except of course in very clear instances where there is "one right answer". |

A “version” of the bible with sentence structure written in English but retaining most of the original untranslated “nouns/verbs/adjectives”? +1 The perfect answer! |

A “version” of the bible with sentence structure written in English but retaining most of the original untranslated “nouns/verbs/adjectives”? Yes interlinear is really the best solution for this. It's kind of a parallel text with the two texts alternating line by line rather than page by page. |
