What is significant about the torn curtain? Also wanted to point out that the curtain was woven in such a way that it was as thick as a man's hand (4 inches), and took 300 priests to carry (Alfred Edersheim, + various rabbinical sources). It would have been completely impossible to tear the veil by hand. It was truly a supernatural occurrence. |

Is it possible to be a good Christian and be psychic at the same time? Nathan the prophet came to David and told him precisely what he had done with Bathsheba (II Samuel 12). He was both extremely accurate and very specific. In that case, I think it would have been foolish of David to NOT think God was involved. |

Is it possible to be a good Christian and be psychic at the same time? That's a good point, which I think Deteronomy 18:20-22 addresses. Once anything the prophet prophecied failed to come to pass (or was otherwise determined to incorrect), you should pretty much ignore any future prophecies (don't fear them), because the Lord was not with them. |

Was the flood of Noah global or local? Per Genesis 7:11 the water came from both "the windows of heaven" and "the fountains of the deep". The "fountains of the deep" could be a topic on its own, but science has proven that there are enormous water filled caverns under the earth. Sistema Sac Actun in Mexico has been surveyed at 134 miles. The book "Dead Men's Secrets" details caverns that run under entire continents. |

Do I get a second chance to believe in Jesus after I die? I read I Corinthians 15:29 as "what's the point in baptizing anyone if there is no resurrection?". In other words, if there is no resurrection, then baptism is pointless. |

What happens to people who have never heard about Jesus? I didn't downvote, but just wanted to offer another way of reading I Corinthians 15:29 which might be contributing to downvotes. Paul, speaking of the resurrection, is saying, "What's the point of being baptized in the first place if there is no resurrection?" See also verses 15-16. |
