Was Jesus' death legitimate? @hammar That's true, but he did garner some supporters, including the late Ekrem Akurgal, known for his research on the Hittite empire. |

Are there any documented instances of anyone moving a mountain in faith? @TRiG haha made me laugh. You have a point though. In retrospect, maybe my answer should have included the Marco Polo reference only. Granted, it's not a NY Times article, but it is "documentation", which is what was requested. |

Is Jesus lying in John 7? +1 for clarifying verb tense. But a question: if as you say 'that sense is indeed intended by the author' (the sense of not yet), why not just say, 'not yet'? 'Not' and 'not yet' may have been equivalent in Greek, and the intended sense clear, but not so in English. |

Is Jesus lying in John 7? This book (In Awe of Thy Word) is a 1200 page read on why the KJV is the best translation available. It's a huge book, but you can pick it up anywhere and be amazed by how the KJV was translated (seriously). amazon.com/Awe-Thy-Word-Understanding-Mystery/dp/0963584529 |
