comment Are Dinosaurs mentioned in the Bible?
@wax eagle: Can you be more specific? What I have found is far to unspecific, to be called a dinosaur. If there is no tradition of word usage, we would need a much more precise description, to agree, that it must be a dinosaur. But we know from science, that the dinosaurs died millions of years before mankind evolved, and then it took hundrets of thousands of years, before the bible was written.

comment Are Dinosaurs mentioned in the Bible?
@Jonathon Byrd: Since early scientists, who discovered dinosauric fossils were christians, they would have used the words from the bible, if they had fit to their discoveries.

comment Do animals go to heaven/hell?
Lion and the lamb are a methaphors, for enemies being friends. It doesn't mean that lamb and lion will literally enter heaven.

comment Are Dinosaurs mentioned in the Bible?
Are you interested in dragons or in dinosaurs, and if you think both are the same, how is this justified? Dragons are mentioned in Germanic legends, for example, created 1000 years ago, without knowledge about dinosaurs. But those dinosaurs died long before mankind evolved on earth. If you think of dragons as monitor-lizard, living on the Galapagos islands: They were discovered much later.

comment Abraham tries to sacrifice his son. Is exploiting a human a moral behaviour?
I'm not a native english speaker, and searched for a word for 'instrumentalisieren', and thought 'to instrumentalize' could work, but only 'exploit' showed up. But victimize: He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. - this is a laconic brutality which is in the story, it is not my invention. Since I ask for the moral of burning your son to make somebody convinced of your faith, it's not the word, which triggers emotions, it's the action and situation which the word describes. I think it is very appropriate.

comment Abraham tries to sacrifice his son. Is exploiting a human a moral behaviour?
@Richard: I already used 4times sacrifice in my article. It seems, everybody has to edit the article, to include his own feelings. Use the answers and comments for that. I tried to keep the useful links (thanks for that), as well as spelling and wording improvements.

@Richard: No, I want it to be dicussed with Abraham in mind. Fighting misbelievers is something else than sacrificing your son.

comment In which year was Christ born?
Why is the year of cruzification important, whether it should have been in the year 20, 30 or 40?

@Marc Gravell: You're right and I corrected my text. Maybe I had a softened version for childs in mind. I should have reread the text, which isn't that long.
