@MarcGravell You make a good point, and I was a bit careless in saying "if there are not good arguments against it, this is evidence that it is true". I'll try to state this more carefully: if an experiment can yield evidence for a statement, it can also yield evidence against the statement. The reason for this (and a more precise statement of it) come from the Bayesian interpretation of probability theory. The consequence of this is that if looking for arguments can yield evidence against Christianity, it can also yield evidence for Christianity.
